Mar 23, 2005 · The LP sounds pretty good. A bit noisy vinyl though, at least my copy. Compressed and bombastic yes. I don't have the CD so I can't do a direct comparison but the LP is LOUD. Aggressively thumping bass and really good sounding drums come through very well. As each side progresses the bass gets slightly weaker.
